Top 9 August 2017 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination

Being a topnotcher is no easy feat. It takes a lot of ardent effort and diligence. However, it wouldn’t be fair to say I was the most hardworking examinee, or the most prayerful as well. I had my lapses, doubts and I would continue to question myself. I reached out to God, as I’m sure many others had as well. I knew my reasons weren’t pure to begin with. It was rooted in anger and frustration because I didn’t graduate with Latin honors. Not because of my grades, but because I was a shiftee. I told myself I would retaliate by toping the boards. It was my pride talking. For these reasons, I didn’t really expect my prayers to be answered. Why should it be? But I guess God really has a way of surprising us. Thy will be done. This altered my life. Instead of packing off and going abroad, I chose to stay and lead a life of service here as a medical technologist. I’m happy for everyone that passed the boards, kudos RMT 2017!
