It is not easy to relearn the lessons we had from two years before, but ACTS has thoroughly helped us in preparing for the dreaded board exam.
Every lecture helped reinforce our knowledge, every test sharpened our minds.
So I am thankful for all lecturers who taught us; you who did not spare yourselves from the agonizing >8 hour lectures.
I am proud to be part of ACTS!
A month before the board exams, the pressure begun mounting.
With every passing day, the worry, the self-doubt, compounded on and on.
Once the exam began, the pressure peaked.
When it finally ended, hope was lost.
I thought to myself “I could have done better! I could have prepared for it in a better way”
But it is pointless to think about what could have been. We could never change the past.
So offered it to God. All my worries, my problems, my doubts, my cares.
“Let Your Will be done!”
Then I felt, after that moment – that moment of anxiety – was serenity.
I was at peace.
After waiting for a couple of days, I finally saw it.
Success!
Then I realized that when we lift up our burdens unto Him, all things will fall in place.
Indeed, the great Augustine’s cry resounds even today.
“Inquietum est cor nostrum donec requiescat in Te”
“Our heart is restless until it rests in You”
